Meet Milan

Milan is our passionate chef who brings warmth, creativity, and a deep love of cooking to the St Luke’s community.

Originally from Nepal, he moved to Canberra four years ago and has been sharing his culinary skills in Australia ever since. His journey into early childhood catering began with Trippas White Group, where he eagerly took the opportunity to cook for children. After starting at the Chapman centre, Milan joined the Deakin team when it opened in January 2026.

For Milan, cooking is more than a job—it's something he truly loves. He enjoys offering hospitality, exploring new flavours, and expressing creativity through his own recipes. His enthusiasm flows into every meal he prepares.

Milan is committed to understanding children’s tastes and needs. He loves asking whether they enjoyed a meal and watching how they respond to different foods. Their happiness guides his menu choices.

Outside of work, Milan enjoys movies, BBQs with friends and family, and the occasional party. His cheerful nature and dedication make him a valued part of the team.
